Our products
We cook our meals in our own atelier in Brussels with a lot of ❤️. We cook as you would at home - only with far bigger pots! Most of our meals are ready in 10 minutes: just heat up, add a side dish or carb (pasta, rice, etc.) of choice and done! All our meals are 100% plant-based and are delivered frozen, that way they stay fresh in your freezer for months!
As a rule of thumb, the vast majority of our dishes are kept as family-proof as possible: they are all perfectly, generously seasoned (of course!) and they do contain as much salt as an adult palette enjoys, but: they are not spicy/hot - they are mild!
Of course, every child and every individual is different, so while most people will enjoy the level of seasoning in our dishes, for some it may be a good option to add a little bit of (plant) milk / yogurt / rice... to slightly dilute the flavour and make things a bit milder.

The short: some of our meals contain small traces of alcohol. Use the allergen filter in our menu page to only view products where no alcohol at all was used in the production process.
In some of our Solid Stash dishes (such as our Bolognese, Lasagna, or Vol-au-Vegan), alcohol (like wine or sherry) is added as a primary ingredient during the cooking process. During the cooking process the vast majority of the alcohol evaporates. In a single portion of bolognese, lasagna or vol-au-vegan, only the equivalent of 4ml of wine remains. That's only 3/100th of a normal glass of wine. We surely think this is a very small amount, however whether you consider this negligible (e.g. when you are breastfeeding or avoiding alcohol) is of course up to you!
Other dishes (e.g. the Grain Bowl, Pub Pie & Neatloaf Burgers) contain alcohol as a secondary ingredient: it is a by-product in e.g. the mustard, miso or vinegar that we add to some of our recipes. For these dishes, there is no material amount of alcohol present after cooking.
However, some customers (e.g. some members of the Muslim community) may still want to avoid consuming products in which alcohol was used as a primary and/or secondary ingredient during the cooking process (whether it is evaporated or not).

We deliver all over Belgium twice per week, on Wednesday and Saturday and you can select your preferred delivery date during checkout. On the morning of delivery our courier will send you a 1-hour time slot so you can plan ahead. Not home? You can postpone your delivery to a later date or re-route to a different address. Since all our meals are delivered frozen, someone needs to be home to accept the order: your order will never be left outside.
Solid Stash works with couriers who will deliver your order using actively cooled freezer vans.
At checkout you can choose a delivery date. It is important that someone is home on that day as the order will need to be put in the freezer upon delivery!

We have pickup points in Gent, Lokeren, Kortrijk and Dendermonde. Place your order online and pick it up at a time that suits you.
