It may be starring a rather unexpected vegetable, but boy is our kohlrabi cream soup good! Expect a lush, luxurious, sweet-but-peppery flavoured bowl of comfort that had our marketing intern exclaiming: “THIS SOUP! I’M OBSESSED!”

    Cooking instructions

    1. Take the little pot of pesto out of the freezer about an hour in advance and let it defrost on the
    counter.
    2. Place the soup (frozen or defrosted) in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in the microwave, stirring
    regularly. Alternatively, heat it in a pot on the stovetop (add 1 tablespoon of water and stir
    frequently). The soup should be very hot but not boiling.
    3. Serve in beautiful bowls with a spoonful of pesto on top as garnish for a festive colour and flavour
    contrast.

Ensure it remains frozen and at a steady temperature during transport (which should be as short as possible), and utilise appropriate cooling kit for this. Once defrosted eat within 24 hours and do not refreeze. Consume within 6 months after preparation date.
